One Year

Well-Steve is asleep and as hard as I am trying to do the same, I can't. So here I am. My first blog post. I have been pondering about this for awhile now. I made this blog right after Steve and I got married and never posted a single thing. Want to hear my lame reason why? I hate being a trend follower. Everyone got a blog the second they got married...and I didn't want to follow in their footsteps. For the same reason I never read the Harry Potter books. (if my sister in law Amy reads this then she will probably hold that against me for the rest of my life.:( ) Also the same reason I never watched the Star Wars movies. Everyone was so crazy about them...so I didn't want to be.
Well, guess what?
I am Stupid.
I have only watched episodes 4, 5 and 6 of Star Wars because Steve is making me- and they are crazy old school, but oh so good.I haven't yet read all of the Harry Potter books but I am sure I'm missing out like everyone says. And as far as blogging- I find myself reading up on everyone else's blogs on a weekly...maybe even sometimes daily (don't judge me) basis.And even though I wonder how these women are finding the time to do this (now I assume it's when their husbands are sleeping like I am doing now) I realized they probably do it in half the time that i am spending reading them. Let's face it--It is interesting to hear what everyone else is doing and how they are doing it and why they are doing it and how they looked doing it and so on.
Blogs are... addicting.
Now do I think my blog will be as amazing as some of the one I stalkingly follow? Heaven forbid, no. I don't think Steve would like our personal lives being read by too many people. But at least now I can say I am journaling for my posterity. :)

Any who- I will start off with a little about myself.
I am Kierstie no middle name previously a Foster Larsen.
I am married to Steven Neil Larsen, the man of my dreams who is 100 percent different than the man I always thought I would marry. (I am thankful for this too. I had crushes on a lot of choir guys in my younger days and while I think they are great and talented...my older brothers would consider them wimpy queers. Am I allowed to say that?? I am new to this remember?)
We were married May 20th, 2010. So just over one year. What a great year it has been.
I love singing,music,dancing,being silly,laughing,holding babies,chocolate, (duh I'm female)eye shadow,the color purple,(purple eyeshadow),road trips, the smell of wet cement,pedicures, and snuggling.
I love making people feel beautiful which is why since I was about 5 I knew I wanted to do hair. I love being a hair stylist and plan on doing it forever.
I am a green eyed brunette but I am naturally a blondie which most people don't believe until they see my roots. Ew.
I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. And even though I am not the youngest, I got picked on the most. The reason why is the average height for my family, including my mom and sister, is about 6ft.
I am 5'4. :( which by the way is somewhat average, but not in my Foster fam or my Larsen fam.
My nicknames are Kierst,Kierstie Jo,little bunny foo foo (don't ask) foster, and The lipgloss queen.
I love animals. All of them. The second happiest day of my life thus far (the first being my wedding day) was the day I swam with dolphins. One word describes that day. Indescribable.
I work at a doctors office and do hair depending on the day of the week. I prefer the latter. By alot.
My dream vacation is England. It will happen....someday.
I Hope to soon become a mom, whenever Steve and I feel the time is right. I have a feeling my time will be before his.
